Puzzles for adults

Early wooden puzzles are present in large quantities at Emmaus but often have missing pieces.  This project gives new life to these objects, moving them from the field of children's play to that of rehabilitation for adults.

The neutral wooden trays are recovered, and reused as is, but the parts are replaced, bringing the object into a whole new universe. The new parts are created by laser cutting, with a system of layers. Thus, the new, more abstract patterns are less infantilizing and provide new ergonomic possibilities.
